Now I’m sitting here in my couch, looking trough all the photos from yesterdays market. Wow… What a day!
Yesterday it was time for The Farmers Market at Strömma farm lodge in Varberg (Sweden). I’ve never been there before so I didn’t really know what to expect. However I follow them on social media where they always post the most beautiful pictures from their farm. (Check it out! @strommafarmlodge on Instagram for example) but I must say it was even more beautiful in reality. What a place!
The day began with coffee and porridge breakfast with my sweet friend and sidekick, Marika and then we packed the car and drove down the road to Varberg. One hour drive in glorious autumn weather, the sun was shining and we sang along to soul music the whole way in the car (or I don’t know if you can call it to sing, we roared/screamed probably most). We arrived full of energy at the farm. Hay bales, hand-painted welcome signs and happy staff in plaid shirts met us at the entrance.
We rigged the market table, and at eleven a clock the visitors arrived at the farm. So many people! So many pretty things! Such a great atmosphere! Outside the barn the food-court were in full swing and it smelled deliciously of all that was cooking. It smelled country and hay. The smell of grilled and smoked meat, coffee and freshly baked bread spread like a lovely fog over the farm. We stood inside the barn where the market was held. Full of design, hand crafts and small goods. Live bands and musicians with banjo and fiddle played outside. Everything was perfect!
Yes, it was really something magical about farmers market yesterday!
So I just want to say THANK you! All of you wonderful organizers for such an amazing day! It was great!! You are just the best! And THANK you! All you wonderful visitors who came and made my day! I really hope we can do this together again sometime <3
And here are some pictures from the Farmers market :)
